- I just managed to force restore from an old backup! However it is going to take AGES. I think the iPhone 4G will be out before it finishes! #
- @Cyntech It kept failing when trying to backup as part of the upgrade process (I tried 3 times). No clue why, in the end I just gave up. #
- @Cyntech If the restore goes ok I'll be running iOS4 without losing anything (restoring doesn't force back to 3.1). Otherwise a fresh start! #
- @markbate It will still allow you to update from your old backup post iOS4 install, so you shouldn't lose anything #
